  • Warping, delamination, or cracking of the panel arising from a manufacturing defect.

  • Termite, fungal, and rot resistance of the panel body.

  • Water resistance of the panel body itself.

2. Warranty periods

  • 10 years — panel body: warping, delamination, termite, rot (manufacturing defects only).

  • 3 years — exterior soffit colour retention under direct UV exposure.

  • 1 year — accessories: profiles, joiners, clips, screws, adhesives.

  • Installed strictly as per the NIVOC Soffit Installation Manual, including specified fixing centres, expansion gaps, ventilation, and approved profiles.

  • Correct product used for the correct application — interior-grade panels must not be used in exterior or exposed locations.

  • Stored flat, dry, and shaded before installation; not stacked under load or in direct sun.

  • Cleaned only with mild soap and water. No solvent, thinner, acid, or abrasive cleaner.

  • Applies to the original purchaser at the original installation address. Non-transferable.

4. What is not covered

  • Installation defects of any kind, including incorrect fixing, insufficient expansion gap, inadequate substructure, poor ventilation, or use of non-specified profiles and fasteners.

  • Any workmanship of the customer's contractor, mason, carpenter, or third-party installer.

  • Failure, movement, or leakage of the roof, slab, framing, or civil structure behind the panel.

  • Impact damage, scratches, mishandling, or damage during transport arranged by the customer.

  • Acts of God: fire, flood, storm, cyclone, earthquake, lightning, hail.

  • Normal batch-to-batch shade variation, and variation from catalogue images, samples, or digital displays.

  • Gradual colour change within accepted industry tolerance from prolonged UV or weather exposure.

  • Chemical exposure, industrial fumes, coastal salt spray, or continuous heat beyond stated tolerance.

  • Products sold as seconds, clearance, sample, or defective lot.

  • Labour, scaffolding, dismantling, re-installation, painting, finishing, or any consequential cost.

  • Products without invoice traceability or with removed/illegible batch marking.
